[Serah Farron - 002 Video/Action] And so the story continues (Violet)
[VIDEO
[She hasn't been around too long, but already it feels like she's been on quite the adventure. A lot has happened so far between the traveling, reuniting with her sister, and all sorts of glorious things. Now she's got some good news for some of her new friends so she's quite excited when she turns her feed on.]
Rikku - I meant to show you before, but I got distracted. You know that cute red pokemon you have? Vulpix? I have one too.
[To prove it she swivels the feed to show off her Vulpix who was neatly curled up nearby cleaning one paw fastidiously.]
Only I'm still not really sure how I have one. She just showed up in my stuff one day out of nowhere.
[The feed's focus changes again skimming over her Eevee and Sentret who were currently keeping each other company to focus in on a extremely cheerful looking Hoppip who seems to be splashing about in a puddle of water.]
How do you train a pokemon that only knows how to splash? I've been trying, but nothing seems to work.
[The Hoppip, named Mog, continues to splash on cheerfully completely oblivious to the fact that she's being talked about. Serah almost ends the feed, but right before she does she remembers one more thing.]
Lacus, are you still in Violet? Because we should get together if you are.
[ACTION]
[After the video Serah can be found tending her miniature menagerie of pokemon. Something that's not too hard since they're all extremely well tempered. If one waits long enough they'll get to witness Mog accidentally splashing Serah quite liberally with water much to the amusement of all her other pokemon. Well, except for her Vulpix who is staying far, far away from that water stuff thanks muchly.]

I know. [She sighs, smiling softly. It's so nice to sit like this. It's been way too long since they got to relax together.] But I want to learn how to do this for myself.
[She's independent now and... maybe that jab Lebreau made about relying on her sister a little too much hit home in some way. So she really does want to learn how to do this stuff for herself.]
no subject
And you will. You just have to get your feet under you first, and that's what the rest of us are here for.
[To give pointers and such. Learn from your sisters mistakes, Serah. It will do you a lot of good.]
no subject
I know that. [She nudges her sister slightly.] That's why I'm listening, isn't it?
[She's more than willing to learn after all, has to do right by all her cute pokemon.]
It's just a little overwhelming sometimes, there are so many people who want to help.
[She's used to being independent and puttering things through on her own while Light was off doing work things. Not to mention the last three years which have had their own issues.]
no subject
Also, Serah, you're getting smiled at for that nudge. Did you get cheekier on her while she was gone?]
You can say you have enough help, you know. You don't have to take everyone's offers all the time.
[Because she knows Serah can take care of herself. Mostly. Except when she's getting nudged by big sis, anyway.]
no subject
[No way, Serah's always been... okay well maybe a little. Team Nora's a bad influence or something perhaps.]
I know. I just feel a little bad telling them after they went through all that trouble.
[Hey Serah's a big girl now, she can take everything including nudges from big sis. As long as they're not super duper nudges anyway, Light's way too strong sometimes.]
no subject
And of course Team Nora is a bad influence. One that Lightning will thank for caring for her sister, but a bad influence none the less.]
I doubt any of them think of it like it's trouble, Serah. Not many people would offer if they thought that way.
[Nope, not super-duper nudges. Just regular sister nudges from a softer-around-the-edges Lightning.]
no subject
[Yuj would insist that his fashion sense can never be a bad influence, not ever.]
You're probably right. I'm thinking about it too much I guess.
[Yeah, those she can take and then dish out nudges in response to them.]
no subject
Yuj's fashion sense, a bad influence? Perish the thought. ...Except in Lightning's mind: she may or may not think he had something to do with that dress Serah was wearing before.]
Don't worry. You'll get used to it after a while.
[Good. Lightning would be worried if there weren't nudges in response, and a worried Lightning hovers. A lot.]
no subject
[Poor Yuj. Light could at least blame him for things that are actually his fault.]
Of course. Like you said, we've got plenty of time.
[Please, like a not worried Lightning doesn't hover? Not to mention the conundrum of "is Light ever not worried about Serah" on top of that.]
no subject
And she would blame him for things that are his fault...if she knew what those were. Timey-wimey things giving Serah a new dress? Has no idea about that.]
Yeah. We do. Doesn't mean we should waste it.
[Okay, fine, a not-worried Lightning hovers less than a worried one. And of course she has moments of not worrying about bbsis. Sometimes. When she's sleeping.]
no subject
[Nothing. He's done nothing wrong. Gosh Lightning stop being so overprotective. Neither does Serah, not entirely.]
[Also this is where the cavities really kick in.]
I won't waste it, I'll be spending time with you.
no subject
And she'll always be over protective. ALWAYS.
Also, that's a soft smile you're getting, Serah. She's missed you too.]
You sure you can't think of better ways to use that time?
no subject
[Old habits die hard or, in some cases, refuse to die at all. SIGH.]
Nope. That's definitely the best thing I could come up with.
[They've got years to make up for and she has every intention of making up for them.]
no subject
Even if Snow suddenly showed up?
[Because Lightning also has every intention of making up for lost time, but, well, she knows how things are with those two.]
no subject
On the bright side that'd save the world from the possibility of a 13-3?]Is there a rule that I can't spend time with both of you?
[Don't worry big sis, even if Snow were to show up she'd still make time for her too. Snow being here is not a reason to just abandon Lightning.]
no subject
If Lightning could do anything, yes. Otherwise...sadly, no.]No, but there are only so many hours in a day, even here. You might run out of time to do everything else.
[Oh, she's not worried---okay maybe a little worried. Surely, they'll figure out a schedule, but...eh. She'll get over this little thing called abandonment issues.]
no subject
Valid.]Don't worry. I'll manage somehow, I promise.
[Awe, but she'd never abandon her big sis. Not ever! They've had their ups and downs, but they're still family and Serah's not going to turn her back on that.]
no subject
Also, there are no more words. Not from Lightning. There are just squeeze hugs while she enjoys her time with you, bbsis. She always will because, hey, family, and Lightning still thinks she has a lot to make up for. Always will.]
