[Serah Farron - 002 Video/Action] And so the story continues (Violet)

[She hasn't been around too long, but already it feels like she's been on quite the adventure. A lot has happened so far between the traveling, reuniting with her sister, and all sorts of glorious things. Now she's got some good news for some of her new friends so she's quite excited when she turns her feed on.]

Rikku - I meant to show you before, but I got distracted. You know that cute red pokemon you have? Vulpix? I have one too.

[To prove it she swivels the feed to show off her Vulpix who was neatly curled up nearby cleaning one paw fastidiously.]

Only I'm still not really sure how I have one. She just showed up in my stuff one day out of nowhere.

[The feed's focus changes again skimming over her Eevee and Sentret who were currently keeping each other company to focus in on a extremely cheerful looking Hoppip who seems to be splashing about in a puddle of water.]

How do you train a pokemon that only knows how to splash? I've been trying, but nothing seems to work.

[The Hoppip, named Mog, continues to splash on cheerfully completely oblivious to the fact that she's being talked about. Serah almost ends the feed, but right before she does she remembers one more thing.]

Lacus, are you still in Violet? Because we should get together if you are.

[ACTION]

[After the video Serah can be found tending her miniature menagerie of pokemon. Something that's not too hard since they're all extremely well tempered. If one waits long enough they'll get to witness Mog accidentally splashing Serah quite liberally with water much to the amusement of all her other pokemon. Well, except for her Vulpix who is staying far, far away from that water stuff thanks muchly.]

She's a cutie! And maybe you can try what I did when Vena and Bibbo first hatched. They were too little to hold their own in a fight, but they still wanted to, so I had them do a little attacking before letting Ren or Marble finish the wild Pokémon off. It made it easier to train them without worrying about needing a Pokémon center, and it helped my team get used to each other!

Vulpix are adorable and she trains really well!

[Snow hears this and uncurls enough to give his trainer a rather pointed look. Serah rolls her eyes at that. Her Eevee's entirely too silly sometimes.]

So switching them out means that they'll both grow? It's certainly worth a try.

It'll take a while, but it can't hurt! You could also try having the fight each other? I dunno how well it'd work, but it's probably a lot safer.

[It may have come as a surprise to Serah, but Lightning has rarely let her sister out of her sight since that morning when they finally reunited in Cherrygrove. That hasn't changed, even a few weeks later, and the elder Farron is just walking over to see what's going on. Doesn't look happy about that splashing, though.]

There's a way to train that one, but it's not going to be easy.

[Serah was all too willing to stay close to her sister. Later she might be willing to expand her horizons a little, but for now it still feels almost unreal having Lightning nearby.]

[Unlike her sister, Serah doesn't mind the splashing, in fact she's laughing as she wipes water out of her face.]

As long as she's happy, I'm okay with whatever it takes to get Mog stronger.

[Unreal, but it's a welcome feeling. Especially after so long apart.

The sight of Serah laughing also does wonders to settle Lightning down, and the unhappy frown on her face eases a bit as she sits down next to Serah, watching Mog for a bit.]

You'll have to send her out into battle, then recall her. It can take some practice to get it right without her getting hurt, at first.

[Ven starts to wave right before seeing her get hit with a Splash]

...Gosh, I remember how that was.

[Then the splash happens and her greeting gets cut off by a case of the giggles.]

Is this something every trainer has to deal with then?

[Mog the Hoppip actually looks somewhat apologetic this time, but it's only for a few moments before it's back to being it's cheerful (and hoppy) self.]

[Seeing that it doesn't trouble her at all puts him at ease, smiling as he recalls the Hoppip he'd once raised]

Depending on what they raise, yeah. Both Magikarp and Hoppip start off with that move.

Oh, training those types is actually pretty easy. The ones that only know Splash, I mean. Is the Pokemon a Magikarp?

[She dares to move a little closer to where the Hoppip is happily splashing around, but not too close since she's not sure it's a good idea to let her gear get wet.]

Unfortunately ... not at the moment, I had to return to Goldenrod very quickly. Two dear friends of mine ... opened their business and I was invited. But I was there not too long ago, but not for very long ...

[Serah offers her a bright smile trying to reassure the other.]

It's okay! That just means we'll meet up later. It sounds like we've got plenty of time.

I had the same problem before when I first arrived here since my starter was sort of weak. Did the others tell you about how to swap them out?

They have! I'm glad someone told me, I never would have thought to do something like that.

So...What sort of starter did you have?

[Everyone starts out with different ones she's discovered and Serah's finding herself quite curious about what starter's people are given. She might even be trying to cook up theories about why people get the starters they do. A throwback to when she'd been planning on going to university that's apparently never gone away.]

Have you ever seen a Togepi? Mine's already evolved, but she used to be a tiny egg pokemon.

You'll have to send her out with a battle partner, or switch her out for someone else before she gets hurt.

[Running up on her trainer's heels is Leon's yappy little Lillipup, tail frantically wagging as she tries to catch the tiny flying jets of water with her mouth.]

Sending her out with a partner might work. Probably not Vanille, I don't think they get along very well ever since Mog accidentally splashed her.

[Serah's poor Vulpix hadn't taken too kindly to being doused in water.]

She seems to be having fun.

[Her eyes watch the Lillipup with much amusement. At least someone appreciates the splashing.]

[Stealthily sneaking up on her Hoppip in hopes that she won't get splashed. Only it happens anyway. Thankfully the water catches Serah and not the Gear.]

Nope. She's a Hoppip. [Serah laughs, because splashing pink balls of fluff are cute okay.]

I ran into her on my travels and Mog decided to adopt me. So I adopted her too.

That's right! She's one of the first people I talked to when I arrived here. Lacus seems really nice.

[Thanks to China (and some explanations from Ven/her sister), she's not completely surprised when someone unfamiliar greets her like a long lost friend this time. Still the fact that she has to inform another person that she doesn't remember them brings a small frown to her lips. Serah hates this part already and she's only had to do this once before.]

I'm sorry, I've been told I was here before, but I don't remember anything about it...or anyone either.
