[She hasn't been around too long, but already it feels like she's been on quite the adventure. A lot has happened so far between the traveling, reuniting with her sister, and all sorts of glorious things. Now she's got some good news for some of her new friends so she's quite excited when she turns her feed on.]

Rikku - I meant to show you before, but I got distracted. You know that cute red pokemon you have? Vulpix? I have one too.

[To prove it she swivels the feed to show off her Vulpix who was neatly curled up nearby cleaning one paw fastidiously.]

Only I'm still not really sure how I have one. She just showed up in my stuff one day out of nowhere.

[The feed's focus changes again skimming over her Eevee and Sentret who were currently keeping each other company to focus in on a extremely cheerful looking Hoppip who seems to be splashing about in a puddle of water.]

How do you train a pokemon that only knows how to splash? I've been trying, but nothing seems to work.

[The Hoppip, named Mog, continues to splash on cheerfully completely oblivious to the fact that she's being talked about. Serah almost ends the feed, but right before she does she remembers one more thing.]

Lacus, are you still in Violet? Because we should get together if you are.

[ACTION]

[After the video Serah can be found tending her miniature menagerie of pokemon. Something that's not too hard since they're all extremely well tempered. If one waits long enough they'll get to witness Mog accidentally splashing Serah quite liberally with water much to the amusement of all her other pokemon. Well, except for her Vulpix who is staying far, far away from that water stuff thanks muchly.]

[Serah looks thoughtful.]

It sounds like your busy, so maybe it'd be better for me to arrange things so I can come to you.

I am working at a cafe here in Goldenrod. I am working to becoming an idol again.

[ She was touched by Serah's offer ... if not a little guilty. ]

Oh! But ... I don't mind. I do love to travel. I am used to it.

You know, I hadn't even thought about the fact that people need to work here just like they do normally.

An idol? That sounds like it'd be a lot of fun. I'll definitely have to come now so I can watch you.

[After all that's what friends do right?]

Then we'll have to work out a way for us to take turns visiting each other. It only seems fair.

[ Laughs. ] Well ... it is a good way to earn money and love it. I always enjoyed making music ...

Actually ... I never thought of it until I was here. Back home, I retired from being an idol.

I would love for you to come and watch. I will even save you a seat, just let me know when you can.

... oh! If you like, if you want to visit and return quickly ... you can borrow my Altaria. I am sure Lightning will miss you if you are gone too long. And flying will save time.

I'll have to see what jobs are out there. I can't always depend on Lightning for everything after all.

I'm glad you found something to do that you still enjoy, Lacus. That must be really nice.

Then it's all set. I'll have to come watch for sure now. I'm just not sure when. What's your performance schedule like?

[She smiles, brightening slightly at the prospect of flight.]

Kanji told me about flying. I still don't have a flying type and I'm still a long way from beating Falkner yet myself, but I'm looking forward to being able to do more than just walk around.

I know what you mean. I feel the same way when I depend on Athrun too often.

Well, my schedule is often on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the afternoon. Most of the time I am busy scheduling auditions and such.

I believe that you can defeat Falkner. With plenty of practice, I believe you can.

It is a wonderful feeling to fly ... I always feel like I can see the whole of Johto while in flight.

Yeah. I want to depend on her, but I really shouldn't.

[Lebreau had finally gotten that much through to her at least.]

Right. I'll have to see what's going on and then see what we can figure out.

[Serah laughs, completely at ease when talking about all this pokemon stuff finally.]

I've still got a long way to go before I'm ready to fight Falkner. It's okay, there's no need to rush.

That sounds amazing! [She giggles quietly.] Certainly better than walking everywhere.

You will get there. In time. Until then, enjoy leveling up.

I didn't always enjoy battling ... but I have to admit that at times it was enjoyable especially when your Pokemon is also having fun.

Just let me know when you'd like to visit Goldenrod. I can send my Altaria to you through the computer.

That's right, but we'll train hard so one day my team will be ready to face him.

I feel bad for the pokemon who lose sometimes, but if fighting is how they grow it can't be bad, can it?
